The chorus is open to singers of all abilities. Whether you are an experienced singer or a beginner who has never sung in a choir before, you are welcome to sign up and enjoy the experience of making music together
There is a charge of £10 for each participant (under 16s free and
full-time education £5) for both workshops and all rehearsals.

This
year the Beccles Festival Chorus
will be rehearsing and performing the ever-popular oratorio
'The Creation’ by Haydn. It
is a work full of colour and drama telling the story of creation from
primordial chaos to the beauty of the created order. The music is
brimming with beautiful tunes and sublime moments for chorus and
soloists alike.
Once
again the chorus will be directed by Vetta Wise who brings many years of
experience, a great sense of humour and plenty of inspiration to the
rehearsals and performance. There will be a full orchestra and soloists
from The Guildhall School of Music.

There are 2 workshops and 6 rehearsals. We realise that not everyone will be able to attend all of these but hope that all who sign up can come to at least one workshop and most of the rehearsals, the last three of which are compulsor
